Saturday August 10th

Tannice's campground affords a wonderful opportunity to get laundry done, clean up the trailer, and shop for more seafood! Not sure I'll ever get topped up.

Friday night we went to see a play. It was an open air venue at the lead actor's home.

Tan and I went for a walk in the Burgoyne Bay park, then appetizers for dinner at the Rock Salt Restaurant  in Fulford Harbour. Had a lovely Pinot Gris from Gerry Oaks Winery, which was just next door to the play venue. Then we drove up to the play and found our seats around a raised stage. Wine and Greek tapas were being sold to raise money to fight the pipeline, and people were taking full advantage, including myself.

The play was super! The performance certainly professional and the audience enthusiastic. It was a lovely evening under the stars.

This morning I donned the wetsuit and went for swim at the end of Beddes Road where there is a lovely beach access. It was so good to taste the salt water and feel the buoyancy. Now for some tea and lunch, a quiet afternoon, and a musical performance tonight at the Treehouse Restaurant.
