Well, I
decided to hoof it to my brothers place in Lac La Hache without staying
overnight in Prince George. Nice town – but I’m really not keen on towns right
now, and the drive was short enough to take me there by 430 in the afternoon.
So nice to be with family, fed a good meal, and tucked down in my camper to
silence and sweet smells of the countryside.
Spent
Tuesday morning cleaning out the camper and re-organizing. Now that I’ve spent
a few weeks travelling in it, I have a better idea of where things should be.
Bill is busy readying their big RV and has booked a campsite at Nimpo Lake near
Bella Coola. I’ve never been to this area, and I’m excited to see this
countryside. Bella Coola is at the end of a long inlet, but on the coast. Nimpo
Lake is part of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park – about four hours from Williams Lake.
So for me, this will be quite an adventure, and probably not somewhere I might
venture on my own. We’ll be there for a week, and there is no cell coverage so
as of Friday I’ll be off line. I may have some wifi at the resort itself, but I
can make no promises.
