Migrating Crane 2.0

It was a week ago today that I limped back to the cabin in Wingham after a hair raising 2 day drive from Marathon. In that week, I've said goodbye to my faithful old Subaru Forester (surprised me how hard it was to let it go) and purchased a 2016 Toyota Tacoma. Picked it up Saturday and drove back to the cabin to pick up the trailer. Spent over 2 hours with Brian from Waterloo this afternoon, whom I had never met, while he taught me so much about setting up a travel trailer, gave me a scale to weigh the tongue on, moved my spare tire from underneath so I can mount it on the tongue. The drive from Waterloo to Guelph was significantly better!

I'm starting to regain my momentum. Tomorrow the roof racks go on, and my kayak gets loaded. Then I'm off once again - this time much better prepared.
